Backup Service¶

With v2.10, LiveConfig has a new backup service which can be enabled at Servers -> Server Management -> Backup.

The new backup service also works on multi-server deployments (when web space, databases and e-mail are on different servers). The backup data is stored local on each server at /var/backups/liveconfig.

Only web space backups and database backups can be restored directly by customers. Automated restore of e-mail backups will be available at a later date. However, an administrator may restore individual mailboxes from the backup file manually.
